New Thief game headed to PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720

Get your sneaking boots on: Square Enix and Eidos Montreal are bringing back the Thief series with a next-gen lick of paint, rebooting the series for a romp on PlayStation 4, PC and “other” next-generation consoles in 2014. Xbox 720, anyone?
From the makers of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the new Thief game has been in development since at least 2009, and puts you back in the stealthy garbs of series lead Garrett in a first-person adventure in the darkly sinister medieval setting of The City. This time though, The City is under the rule of a tyrant named the Baron while the population is being battered by a plague.
The new game is set to offer you a number of open paths for you to guide Garret through, and as it’s set for the PS4 and other nameless next-gen consoles (Read: the next Xbox), expect the wide-open world to look even better than what we’ve seen on consoles before.
Has the new Thief game whet your appetite for what’s to come in next-gen consoles, or are you still not convinced? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
