Asus MeMO Pad ME301T Android tablet hits Europe

Asus has started selling its new 10-inch Android tablet for European market, the Asus MeMO Pad ME301T. Amazon Germany is offering this tablet for €349 that’s meaning US$476.80. In Italy, the MeMO Pad ME301T Android tablet sells as low as €299.

As mention, the MeMO Pad is seems a low-cost alternative to the Asus Transformer Pad tablet. The 10-inch Asus MeMO Pad tablet boasts a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage.
Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software, new Asus MeMO Pad ME301T tablet has a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel and 350nits brightness. For connectivity, this tablet provides WiFi, Bluetooth, microHDMI and micro USB ports, as well as GPS. Other features are a 5MP rear-facing camera, and 1.2MP camera on the front.
It is available in blue, pink, and white color options. Dimensions of MeMO Pad are 263 x 180.8 x 9.9 mm.

Toshiba announces Excite 10 SE tablet with Android 4 1

Toshiba has announced the Excite 10 SE Android tablet. The tablet features 10.1-inch AutoBrite HD touchscreen display and is powered by Android 4.1, Jelly Bean and the NVIDIA Tegra 3 Super 4-PLUS-1 quad-core processor. The tablet is only 0.4 inches thick and weighs 22.6 ounces. The Excite 10 SE also includes a 3 megapixel rear-facing camera with auto-focus and digital zoom for capturing HD video and photos. Connectivity options include 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, as well as Micro SD and Micro USB ports for expandability. It also houses stereo speakers with SRS Premium Voice Pro. The Excite 10 SE will be available starting at $349.99 MSRP for the 16GB model on December 6, 2012.

PC maker Toshiba had announced its Excite line of products back in April this year and after all these months it has finally decided to add a 10-inch tablet to the lineup. As gathered from various reports, Toshiba has announced to launch a 10-inch tablet by the name of Excite 10 SE which runs on Google’s Android Jelly Bean. The tablet is set to go on sale for $349.99 starting tomorrow December 7.

The Toshiba Excite 10 SE sports a 10.1-inch AutoBrite HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800p and comes powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 3 Super 4-Plus-1 quad core processor.
